From the start of the project Søren decided to involve the two local Majorcans Joan Horrach and Jaume Fullana as partners, and in 2019, Marie Von Ahm, a fellow Dane based in Barcelona, also joined the BiniVista team as a partner.
Søren Svenningsen
For years Søren has been a succesful serial entrepreneur. Now he devotes all his energy and passion to creating unique winery and build up the BiniVista Family.
Søren originally graduated as a lawyer, but in 1993 he decided to set out on different entrepreneurial adventures. He started multiple companies in various industries, including wine, recycling of glass, soft- and hardware, digital signage, medical equipment and software, property development, and (not surprisingly) a pro-cycling team.
Søren started the BiniVista project back in 2017. Just two years later, he decided to dedicate all of his time to the project. Søren has frequently visited Mallorca over the past 40 years and fell in love with the island many years ago. In addition to his previous visits, he has gone on cycling trips around the island every year for the past 25 years and has also had a house on the island since 2016. Søren’s greatest passions besides his family are cycling, art, and wine.
Søren is 55 years old and has been married to his wife Mette since 1992. They have 3 children (ages 17/23/26).
Jaume Fullana
Jaume is Mallorquin born and our winemaker and gives our wine autenticity.
Jaume was born on Mallorca in 1971 and is married to Silvia, with whom he has two daughters. Jaume is a winemaker and has produced wine at his family owned winery Es Verges in Esporles for many years. He also has great experience with planting new vineyards on Mallorca, and he has been involved in many projects around Mallorca. This was also how he initially began getting involved in the BiniVista project - and today he is a full-fledged partner in the project.
Joan Horrach
Everybody on Mallorca knows Joan and Joan knows every corner of Mallorca.
Joan was born in Deia, Mallorca in 1974, is married to Joana and has a daughter. He moved to Biniali in 2009, in the middle of the wine lands of Mallorca, close to the BiniVista winery. Joan has been a professional road cyclist for over 14 years as part of some of the best world tour teams in the world, and he has participated in 16 Grand Tours.
Since stopping as a professional rider, he has been doing guided bike tours on Mallorca, and nobody knows Mallorca better than him. It was through these tours that Joan met søren. Joan has been helping the BiniVista project since the very start and is now a partner in the project.
Marie Von Ahm
Marie is the very best to build up our Wine Family concept.
Marie is a specialist marketing and sales entrepreneur with substantial experience in start-up wine businesses, international distribution and media-management. She has worked alongside wine critic James Suckling and also formed part of the prestigious Grand Jury Européen. Her unique skills span several disciplines, including critical wine tasting, new product development, brand marketing, business development, education and management, and has a WSET Diploma qualification. She has created several unique wine club concepts and has experiences all around the globe and has a vast network within the world of wine. She has been a part of the wine industry since a very early age, her driving force being her insatiable passion for wine and entrepreneurship and is also a partner in the project.
