Presentation of 296° Teix, 2021 (Batch#4)

Teix reinvented!  

As always we think in purpose when making our wines and Teix needs to be our happy and bright all-round wine. Juicy and easy-going and ready to make your tastebuds sing even without food, but also with almost any kind of food. 

This year we decided to base it on Grenache, but with almost as much Callet, so at least that remains equal to the year before. This was decided pretty early on during one of our first barrel tasting sessions as we wanted to use all our Pinot for Randa this year and thus needed to come up with an alternative! 

We actually think this is a much better pas de deux, but of course then during the very final tasting session before blending we decided to add in that small but oh-so important touch of magic in the shape of 3% lush and fruity merlot.

What a charmeur! Delightfully fruity, floral and fresh nose with lots of apple blossom, aromatic red apple, red currant and raspberry. Very energetic and vibrant. 

The same juiciness on the palate. Super vibrant and fresh with so much energy! Bright and dancing. Round and silky tannis and with the sweetest freshest red berry fruit. 

Focused and transparent with a playful soul and tons of happiness and drinkability.  

What to enjoy with Teix

The dream companion for truffled mortadella and young raw-milk cheeses. Bruschetta with a variety of toppings. Also great for a simple pasta with a great tomato sauce of the best and sweetest tomatoes you can find.

When, where and with whom..

Teix is your joyful companion for, well basically whenever you just feel like a glass of wine... It's such a versatile wine and goes extraordinarily well with a both a multitude of food and without anything at all. Open a bottle on your own, or when friends or family come over, but remember the right glass.
