The Art Wine by Peter Skovgaard will be presented on 24/9-2022
At BiniVista we don’t only care about lovely wines. As you know, we are also about cycling, food and not the least art, including the launch of our ART WINES.
In connection with our Grand Opening on September 24th, we have our first art exhibition and simultaneously present this year's ART-WINE; the first of many exciting wines on the way!
I have collected art for more than 30 years, and it brings me personally a great deal of joy and value to be surrounded by inspiring art. One of the Danish painters who has been with me on my journey for many years - both in Holte, Marbella and now Mallorca, is the Danish (Aarhus) painter Peter Skovgaard, whom I was introduced to many years ago by my good old art advisor Kent Wolfsen , from Galerie Wolfsen in Aalborg.
To me, Peter Skovgaard embodies a soft and angular flow and colors that ooze both insight and surplus. Creating beautiful and durable abstract images is not easy. Many have tried, but few has managed in making it work as well as Peter. He has found his character and style with a unique flow and an incredible sense of color. Skovgaard is the third generation of Danish artists who have developed a tradition where Asger Jorn, who in his time redeemed the soft, organic abstraction and accepted the style as a true art form. Since then, the genre has fostered big stars, e.g. Per Kirkeby.
Skovgaard has carried out major projects at home and abroad, often in collaboration with recognized architectural firms such as Schmidt Hammer Lassen and Arkitema. One of the last major publicly accessible tasks that Skovgaard has done is the 500 m2 light painting for HL Tower Aarhus. In addition to Skovgaard's extensive visual production, his works also include installations, paper works, decorative projects and sculptures etc.
It was therefore very obvious to me that I wanted to launch our art project in collaboration with Kent and Peter with a special exhibition of 20-30 new pictures by Peter Skovgaard and at the same time present our first ART WINE, which is a special blend that we have made together with Peter. You can of course meet both Kent and Peter at our Grand Opening on 24/9 - and there will be a small presentation of the painting and wine at 16.30.
This is this year's art label, and of course you can enjoy the original painting in the winery, and for the occasion we have had a poster printed.
