Finally, our first Winemakers Wine is ready and you have something to look forward to!
The project started more than 3 years ago, and now we can finally present you with our first Winemakers Wine, which is made in collaboration with our Danish American friend Peter Work. Mother Nature (and our taste buds!) decided that it had to be 2 and not just 1 wine – one of them only in a very limited number and only on magnum.
You can read much more about the exciting project HERE

The story behind the label
The 2 wines are in Peter's (biodynamic spirit) named after the star constellation that shone brightest in the sky on the days we harvested the grapes. The constellation on the label is Libra (Librae in latin), and the 2 prominent stars are the two leading stars in Librae; namely Alpha and Beta. Hence the wines' names α-Librae and β-Librae.

The "largest" of the wines takes its name from Beta, the brighter of the two leading stars.
However, both wines are quite exceptional and unique and we are very proud of the result. We really feel that Peter's wine style and soul are expressed in the wines, but at the same time the wines have Binivista style and elegance.

Marie's description of the wines
A few words about Beta Librae..
An enticing, exquisitely sophisticated nose—dark, deep, and intricately layered. A seamless potpourri of blackberries, dark plum, and ripe wild strawberry, brushed with leather, graphite, and a whisper of honeysuckle. It's a perfume to linger over. As it opens, blood orange and sweet liquorice unfurl, adding further nuance.
On the palate, it arrives with quiet authority: lush, expansive, and effortlessly harmonious. Juicy yet refined, remarkably complex. The dark fruit is interlaced with mineral undertones, all bound by fine-grained, almost chewy tannins that lend weight and texture. It continues to unfold, and the finish seems to never end—leaving you reaching for another sip.

A few words about Alpha Librae....
A deep, sultry nose—blackberry and plum draped in dried rose petals and lavender, threaded with raw licorice. Beneath, a savory hum of well-hung meat and a cool flicker of menthol.
On the palate, depth and juiciness in equal measure: a pure, luminous core of ripe sweet fruit lifted by vibrant freshness. Dark berries entwine with pomegranate and ripe redcurrant; the tannins are supple yet assured, lending backbone and poise. Complex and bold, yet silk-smooth—dangerously easy to love.
