A rainy spring

Spring has come to Mallorca – however, the weather has been a bit unstable, and we have had a lot of rain, which we are basically very happy about here in our dry climate. However, this rain in combination with sun and heat means that our dear vine plants grow very explosively. In the past 2 week alone, we have had 54 liter/m2. It also creates a greater risk of harmful attacks on our plants, including the much hated powdery mildew. To ensure that our plants remain healthy and unharmed, we need to do more preventive work in the vineyards. Since we as organic farming can only spray to a limited extent, and only with organic products that are not quite as effective (and by the way, very expensive), this requires some extra effort. It is important to always be at the forefront of the situation, which in turn means that all men are ordered in the vineyards. It doesn't matter that much however, as we are currently not so busy inside the wine cellar itself.

Wine packages has been shipped

As you know, we bottled our 2023 red wines in November and our new spring wines (2024 harvest) just before Easter. And now everyone who has ordered the wines should have received either the spring package with the white and rosé wines or the full 2025 wine package (Batch#8 and #9) with all our 8 member wines. If this is not the case, you are welcome to write to us on info@binivista.com

Remember to order the new wine packages

And for those of you who have not yet ordered the 2025 wine packages, please go HERE  and order either the Spring Wine Batch#9 or the entire wine package (Batch#8 and #9).

All our Business Members should also have received an invoice for 2025, but again, if this is not the case, then you are welcome to write to us at info@binivista.com

Remember that it is a condition that you buy the 2 annual wine packages to maintain the membership.

Visit to the winery

In addition to the crazy busyness in the vineyards, we are as always busy with visits and tastings - several times a week we welcome people for guided tours with tastings and our delicious homemade tapas. So, if you are on the island then you are more than welcome. We need a last few members to reach the 1,000, and thus can close the membership, so you are very welcome to refer friends to visit us. We promise to give everyone a unique experience, where we tell our story and how we make our wines, and of course taste them. For booking, it is easiest to write to info@binivista.com.

BiniVista Team

As you know, we have very high ambitions regarding the quality of our wines, and this requires at least 2 very important things – firstly, that our grape material is of the highest possible quality, and secondly, very skilled and dedicated employees. So neither here we want to compromise.

In addition to our skilled field workers and administrative staff, and our always diligent Youth Team, the wine-maker team itself now consists of 7 people, and we were all gathered earlier this week to taste our 2024 red wines, which have now been in oak barrels for about 6 months.

We have gradually become a large team, but as said, we also have extremely high ambitions, and we have quite deliberately put together a team of employees with very different professional skills, so that we cover a wide range from the field work to the vinification process itself, including the technical/mechanical part, as the winery is equipped with a lot of technology and machinery.

As an example, Biel is primarily responsible for the vineyards and has more than 17 years of experience in this field. Bibi is responsible for the technical part, i.e. the machinery itself. Lorena and Julia have the main responsibility for the vinification. In addition, the team consists of Marie, who is the overall wine-director, Joan, who is the winery-manager, and of course Søren, who ultimately has to approved and agree that our wines taste fantastic before they are sent off to you dear members

Soon summer

We look forward to summer finally arriving to the island, and look forward to greeting many of you over the next beautiful warm months.

Greetings from BiniVista-Team
